It’s our First Annual Community Film Festival with films by Foxcroft Academy students and other community members.

See your friends and neighbors, students and teachers hamming it up on the big screen!

Chat with filmmakers and eat some popcorn and candy!

Doors open at 6pm, show starts at 7pm.

Admission is by donation.

Come on out and support creativity in our community!

Acting and Directing openings for the Slightly Off-Center Players “Evening of One Acts”

This is an opportunity for anyone interested in acting in or directing a short play. The performance dates are April 13th, 14th, and 15th with a chance to perform for the Maine Association of community Theatres on April 21st.

We will have a time in February when you can audition for all the directors in this project. Actors can perform in as many as 3 shows, if the scheduling allows.

Directors will choose a project (with help if needed), audition actors, work with scenic, lights, sound and costume designers, rehearse their show. Directors can also perform in another director’s show if the schedule allows.

This is a great opportunity for beginning and seasoned actors and directors.

We also need persons who are interested in learning about running lights, sound and stage management.

Auditions:

Auditions will be held on Saturday, December 3rd at 10am and Monday, December 5th at 5pm

Auditions are open to children K-12

A parent or guardian must accompany any child under the age of 16 to auditions and be available to fill out the audition sheet.
